Retroholic Weddings: Intro
When i started building this site i thought i'd definitely have a page dedicated to vintage and retro weddings. Then, one day, i came across this article in the official ebay newsletter: From Ribbons to Rings - Bride-to-Be Plans Her Wedding on eBay, which is about a bride who bought almost everything off eBay for her wedding. It was this article that inspired this retro wedding guide, that provides you with links to everything you need for your retro or vintage wedding. You will find almost everything on eBay, for much less than if you hired a style consultant to pick these things from expensive catalogs. What worked in the 60s will work today just as well!
Why retro OR vintage? I think a retro wedding is one of hip, funky, retro attitude and style, with stuff from the 1950s to 1980s, while a vintage wedding is more elegant, more 1800s to 1930s. In this guide, i provide links to both styles, so you can pick and choose what you like most, even combine the two...
