Vintage Sewing Patterns
When looking for vintage sewing patterns, you have two options: you can get copies or you can get the real, original retro patterns.
The Vintage Pattern Lending Library preserves, archives and replicates historic fashion patterns from 1840 through 1940: for a membership fee (yearly, starts from $20 for 2 patterns/year) you get a COPY of the original pattern that you have to return to the library.
If you're looking for patterns from later decades and you'd like to buy the originals (why wouldn't you?), your best bet is eBay. There are several online vintage pattern merchants, but for the widest selection, as well as the best prices, you should always look at eBay first, compare and save!
